If your product arrives damaged, we will happily offer a replacement upon approved photo proof of the damage.

Yes, all of our packaging is 100% recyclable. If you do not want to upcycle your glass bottle, please ensure to wash it out and remove the clear label on the back and the sticker on the bottom before placing it in your recycling bin. Both of these stickers are compostable. Please check with your local recycling program that the smaller components of the dropper will be accepted.

Our external box packaging is recyclable. It is made of 100% post-consumer waste and is locally printed in California by an environmentally-friendly and carbon neutral company.

Proposition 65 is a regulation in the State of California that requires businesses that operate in the state to inform their consumers about exposures to products that may have potentially harmful ingredients. 

We strive to be as transparent as possible. As a small business, we are exempt from including this warning but we want our customers to be completely aware and informed about the ingredients in the products they use.

The USDA Certified Organic Full-Spectrum Hemp Extract used in our Facial Oil contains a federally legal amount of less than 0.3% THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). Proposition 65 requires that any product sold in California containing any amount of THC, even for topical use, still has to have this warning label displayed.

Another naturally occurring compound in our organic hemp extract, that the State of California requires a warning for, is a terpene called myrcene. Terpenes are what give plants their refreshing aromas. When you smell a flower, that delightful scent comes from its terpenes. Beta-Myrcene is the most common terpene found in the cannabis sativa plant. Myrcene is a ‘natural constituent of food plants, such as hop, bay, verbena, lemongrass, citrus, pomegranate, and carrot, and of their juices and essential oils.’ (OEHHA) Yet, they don’t have Prop 65 Warnings on your carrots or pomegranates. 

California listed beta-Myrcene as a potentially harmful ingredient due to one study at extremely high doses. However, there have been alternate studies and other government organizations that have recognized beta-Myrcene as safe to use. There are even studies as to the benefits of the natural occurring terpene.

Although we appreciate the intent of Proposition 65, we want you to feel comfortable using our natural, topical products. We perform extensive third-party lab testing on all batches of our products. We test for pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, the exact amount of cannabinoids, and terpenes. We will always publish the COA (Certificate Of Analysis) result for each lot on our website. You will know the safety of all the products we produce. That’s a lot of information you don’t usually get from your skincare products.
